Algie Davis Fischer, 82, of Windham, died Friday, June 29, 2018, surrounded by his family at The Gosnell House.  He was born on March 5, 1936, in Casco, Maine. He served his Country in the United States Army and raised a loving family.  Algie was a hard-working guy who loved his family and enjoyed their company very much. He was also a big fan of the Boston Red Sox and always enjoyed watching them play. A graveside service with Military Honors will be held at 12:30 pm on Tuesday, July 3, 2018, at New Calvary Cemetery, 1461 Broadway, South Portland. The family would like to invite everyone to gather from 1-4 pm at The Moose Lodge 19 Spring St, in Scarborough, to celebrate and share memories of Algie.
