Susan Jane Dawson

Susan J. Dawson 70 years old passed away unexpectedly December 5, 2017.  Susan was born in Brunwick, Maine and is predeceased by her parents William A. Dawson and Jacqueline S. (Lebel) Dawson.

Susan is survived by her son Jason York and his wife Mary Kuch York.

Susan graduated from Kennebunkport High School.  Her son says in earlier years her friends called her Pocahontas.  She always seemed to have a tan and she had beautiful long black hair.

After retiring from Verizon Susan took an interest in the Medical field.  Her last job was at SMMC in the Medical Records Dept.

In recent years Susan enjoyed going to the Lobster Bake on Cabbage Island, in the summer, with her son Jason and his wife.  Several of Susan's friends joined them this past summer.

Susan and her friends would gather at IHOP, usually once a month, for breakfast.  Susan will be missed by her family and all her friends.

In conversations with her friends, Susan did not want any visiting or services if and when she passed. 

A celebration of life, at a later date, will be happening.
