Dear Gibson Family: Please accept my deepest sympathy regarding Pete's passing. I knew Pete from our time at car shows. The first time we met (some 20 years ago) was when he came up to me and asked about my car, I own a Willys coupe. From that time on we always talked about our cars and work (I've been in the auto parts business for 30 years). I always joked with him and the reason why it was so hard to find a Willys was because he had cornered the market. I will always treasure our time together and I hope the many people that loved him dearly will bring some comfort and I hope the support of family and friends will help you through this difficult time. Sincerely, Glenn Nickerson

Pete was one of the nicest guys I’ve ever met, or had the pleasure to work with. He always had a smile and a positive word no matter what the circumstances. You left us way too soon and you will be sorely missed. My deepest condolences to Pete’s family.

My heart is broken. Pete was one of the greatest guys ever! I met him when we worked at Napa. I am so happy that he had the good fortune to meet Louise. She has been a Godsend to him. She has been by his side every minute throughout his battle. They certainly didn’t deserve this. He is out of pain now. And I’m sure he’s up there with his Dad, Sandy looking down with a smile on his face! That sweet, adorable smile!

What a shock....Will be sadly missed...Always came into the store with a 'Danny-Boy" followed by a chuckle Even when thing went wrong and would run off the rails He always smiled and saw the bright or better side of the issue...My thoughts and prayers to his family..."Napa Dan"
