After High School, she met the love of her life, Charlie Morey, and on June 19, 1971 they were married at the Deering Grange in Portland.
Lee and Charlie had two boys, Christopher and Scott. Her boys meant the world to her, being a mother was one of her proudest accomplishments. Family and friends were also very important to her. She always enjoyed spending time with her own mother, even spending every Saturday night shopping. It was well known that she could shop all night as this was something she enjoyed very much. She was also known to be a great cook, using her mother’s recipes to make wonderful dinners for family and friends. Lee was also very passionate about animals and her two cats Moxie and Milo who provided her great companionship. In her later years, she was a very proud grandmother to her granddaughter, Emma Grace, who always put a smile on Lee’s face when she was around. Even though Lee only had the one granddaughter, she was very well liked by many of the children of her friends who would always enjoy visiting with her.
