Kevin Gerard Reilly

Portland - Kevin Gerard Reilly, 51, passed unexpectedly on December 29, 2017. He was born November 6, 1966 at Webber Hospital in Biddeford, Maine, the son of the late William and Mary Reilly.

Kevin attended St. Joseph’s Parish School and Deering High School in Portland, Maine, graduating in the Class of 1986.

For more than two decades, Kevin has enjoyed a nomadic lifestyle, working at the Maine Turf Company farm in Fryeburg, Maine during the summer and for the Portland Fish Exchange during the winter.

Kevin was a gentle soul with love and compassion for others. His good humor and quick wit shone bright upon the lives of all he knew. A true original, Kevin lived life on his own terms. His kind heart will be sorely missed by friends and family alike.

In addition to his parents, Kevin was predeceased by a sister, Maureen Shea. He is survived by brothers William Reilly and his partner Michele of Lewiston, Thomas Reilly and his wife Linda of Bangor, David Reilly, Peter Reilly, Mark Reilly and his wife Stacey, by his sister Kathleen Reilly and her partner Eben , brother-in-law Michael Shea, Nephews Thomas Garnett, Timothy Shea and Joshua Reilly, Nieces Jessica  Lynch and Marion Shea.  Kevin is also survived by his lifelong friends Jadine Keene and her husband Randy and their children Justin and James of Fryeburg, Jonathan Henry and his wife  Lisa and their children Brianna and Nathaniel of Waterboro, and Kevin’s HuggaBuddy Kenneth Chaplin of Fryeburg

Visiting hours will be held Friday, January 5, 2018 from 4:00 to 7:00pm at A.T. Hutchins Funeral and Cremation Services, 660 Brighton Avenue, Portland. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph’s Church, Portland on Saturday January 6, 2018 at 11 A.M.
