I Remember. I remember letting me steer his Corvair when I was 6 years old. I remember him beeping his cow horn to our delight as we passed cows on the highway. I remember Uncle John getting me an old mattress when I was 7 years old so I could jump on it in his basement. I remember him teaching me jokes & card tricks when I stayed with him and Aunt Theresa, when my parents went to Italy. I remember sneaking into PHS football games with him. I remember him playing pass with me. I remember him helping coach my Little League 7 team when I was 9-12 years old. I remember picking him as my godfather at my Catholic Confirmation. I remember his nicknames, Nancy(Glancy), Paul (Pee Pee), and my mom Irene ( cherry Nose). I remember him crying at aunt Lena's funeral. I remember all the Wacky and Corny jokes. I remember his sensitivity and his Huge Heart. I remember him surviving a massive heart attack thru shear will. As lives progress and we get busy pursuing our careers and families, we lost contact, but regained it somewhat, more recently. It was that Huge Heart that finally gave out and took him from us.
