I just learned of John's passing today at a Unum luncheon.  John and I go way back - we went to Deering High together, played in the band together and both worked at Unum (Union Mutual).  We attended the Unum Retirees luncheons and always sat together.  He was a wonderful person and will be missed a lot.

My sincere condolences to the Bonnell Family. John was a dedicated soldier and it was such an honor to serve with him. Rest in peace John, "To The Last Man"

Saddened to learn of John’s passing. He was a great man and every bit of a gentleman. I truly miss the hunting cabin days where we shared company, many stories, delicious dinners and captured photographs of the crew at Flick’s and Inman’s hideaways. My sincere condolences go out to John’s wife Natalie and family.

I worked with John at UNUM and for many years after that I would see him shopping at the Falmouth Shaws with his lovely wife. He would always stop and chat with me.  He had a wonderful smile and he was a such a nice man.
