Janice Diane Risbara

Janice Diane Risbara passed away December 11, 2017.  She was born July 6, 1950 in Portland to Leslie A. Hall and Christine O. (Hawkes) Hall.

Janice graduated from Portland High School.  She co-owned and worked at Chick’s Variety with her former husband, Steve Marston.  She was also employed as a Technical Assistant at Hanover Insurance Group for 30 years.

Jan and Frank were married on October 17, 1997 in Scarborough.  She loved being around the water, especially with friends and family.  She enjoyed reading (her Kindle was her “Bible”) and playing cards, but especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.  She was a member of the Portland VFW, Portland Elks, Portland Eagles, and Scarborough Moose Lodge, which is where she met Frank.

Janice was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Douglas A. Hall; and “sister”, Debra Marston.  She is survived by:  her husband, Frank Risbara; daughters, Jami and her husband Robert and Kelly and her fiancée Aaron Pratt; grandsons, Spencer and Nathan; sister-in-laws, Karen Hall and Judy Lawrence; nieces and nephews; and dear, dear friends that are more like extended family.
