EUGENE ARTHUR BELLANCEAU JR.  WESTBROOK

Eugene A. Bellanceau Jr. “Gene”, 67 died December 24, 2017 at Maine Medical Center surrounded by his loving children. He was born January 24, 1950, the son of late Eugene A. Bellanceau Sr. and survived by his mother Ruth Bellanceau (Harrington).

Gene loved to spend his days with his son. He had a smile that could light up the room. Gene was a caring and kind individual and protective of his family and friends.  He enjoyed spending time with his children, family, and friends.  

Gene is survived by his daughter Melissa Bellanceau and husband Richard Hampton of Indiana, son Eugene A. Bellanceau III of Portland; step son’s David Denbow Jr. and wife Kami of Marshfield; Dana Denbow and wife Shannon of Scarborough, Brothers Clyde Hennessey, Robert Bellanceau, Jimmy Bellanceau, and Timmy Bellanceau; Sisters Juanita Stevens, Doreen Grondin, and Tammy Steeves; seven grandchildren; McKaylee, Jacob, Courtney, Tiana, Owen, Griffin, and Abby and two great-grandchildren, also by close friends Kathy Gray, Luke Stone, and residents at River View Terrace.

A graveside service will take place in the spring at Brooklawn Memorial Park in Portland. Arrangements are by A.T. Hutchins Funeral Home.
